I have a 10 year old son that wants to start playing WoW..I'm a bit concerned about this with regards to his age. So I was thinking of that he can play only when I play where he can I can group up.

So is it possible that this can be done from one account? I can create a master account, add him as a child with limitations? He can only group with me..etc..when not grouped his account would have limitations like the Starter Edition.

I'm in agreement with the others, utilizing Parental Controls is your best bet. You can have both your and your son's accounts under the same Battle.net account, but bear in mind to play together, they must be separate World of Warcraft accounts.

If you want to learn more about Parental Controls, give this article a look over:

Should you have any additional questions, please feel free to ask me or our friendly community here. >^.^< It's wonderful to hear that you want to play with your son! My father and I play on the weekends from time to time, and I can attest it's a great way to bond and hang out.
