So I've sent two tickets in the last 6 months regarding additional services. I'm interested in playing wow again and have been since August of last year. In August of last year, I sent a ticket asking for a server transfer/faction change for one of my characters in exchange for reactivating my account. My account has been deactivated since March of 2011. The support staff refused because blizzard gives them zero power to do anything. So, I forgot about it and never activated my account. You have lost $90 in monthly fees as a result. The cost to do the faction/server transfer is around $50. Simply put, I won't pay to have my toon moved/faction changed and I won't reactivate my account unless he's moved. So at this point, best case scenario, blizzard has lost $40. Not much, but every customer matters right? I sent another ticket today advising my original offer stands if blizzard is interested in reacquiring a paying customer. Again, the support staff instantly refused the offer. I offered to sign up for a 6 to 12 month service if the free transfer/faction change was granted. It doesn't make good business sense for blizzard to continue to refuse this request. I imagine there are many other people out there in my same situation. The support staff made that very apparent that they feel neutered by the policies put in place. So as of today, Blizzard has lost $40 in real money by not taking my offer. If it is continued to be refused, blizzard will lose another $90 over the next 6 months. I believe this really needs to be looked at by someone who can make decisions within blizzard. Zidian |

Since this seems to be the only point of contention: My intent was only to contact blizzard with a request outside of normal policy and for it be reviewed by someone who has the authority to actually approve the request outside of policy. There is no appropriate venue for this request, aside from perhaps Billing, as you have been told numerous times by other posters. Posting here (or any other forum) will continue to be unfruitful in regards to your request, and rather than allow this thread to continue this circular logic, I'm locking it. |
