This is definitely a good step. But if you are consistently receiving whispers, the best thing for you to do is to put the individuals contacting you on ignore, and report the situation to our Game Masters. If they continue to contact you, do not respond and continue to utilize /ignore and our reporting system.

The sooner you build up a history with our Game Masters of this behavior occurring, the better equipped our staff will be to intervene with appropriate warnings or suspensions.

I'm after some advice regarding being harassed by a guild. I'm not able to select my character who is the one affected, for some reason, but it's xxxxxxxxxx on Dath'Remar. It's not the nasty, vicious types of harassment, but rather they just won't leave me alone. This guild constantly whispers me asking me to join, and I am also picked up by their macros that others use to recruit. No matter how many times I tell them, how many of their members are told, the invites keep coming, to the point where I am going out of my mind with rage and frustration. The final straw was being contacted within 30 seconds after just logging on. I am at my wit's end and do not know what to do. I've tried being nice, tried being blunt, tried telling their GMs... all to no avail. I can't put the whole guild on ignore and even if I could, I'm pretty sure that would not stop the useless macros they need to recruit people to their obviously terrible guild.

Guilds should be joined because you all share a common goal or like for each other, not just to get the higher level members guild benefits before you are booted. It's obvious this guild is just after members and clearly do not care if a person is a good fit for their guild or not. Moreso, the name of their guild is ridiculous and pretentious, further making me not want to join. Any help in dealing with this would be appreciated.
