Hello, I have a friend that has some authenticator problems. He has lost his authenticator and wants to use the remove authenticator form that is usable under the battle.net loging prompt. He used to live in the US, however he has moved to Venezuela recently and has no access to his US Government issued ID. Instead he has his Venezuelian Government issued ID as well as driver's license birth certificate etc, etc. He can provide his security question as well as the address that the account is under but he does not have his CD Keys for his games nor can he provide the key that was on the authenticator. What are the steps he should take to recover his account and have his authenticator removed from his account? Thank you for your help. Hopefully you guys can get this cleared as soon as possible. |

The short answer is that contacting Billing is the best way to find out exactly what they'll require of your friend when removing the authenticator. However, any government issued photo ID should be fine - it does not have to be a US one. >^.^< Billing and Account Services Hours: 7 AM to 8 PM Pacific Standard Time How to contact: Phone: 1-800-592-5499 Australia: 1-800-041-378 Chile: 1230-020-5554 Mexico: 001-888-578-7628 Argentina: 0800-333-0778 Via Support Site: http://us.battle.net/support/ |
